Thailand's agriculture minister proposes to establish a rubb

      Kisada, Thailand's minister of agriculture and cooperatives, said that the establishment of a rubber price supervision committee is currently under discussion with the Ministry of Commerce. According to the law on product price management in 1999, rubber is an internationally controlled product. Therefore, the commercial department will join the rubber price supervision mechanism. The rubber price supervision committee is composed of government, enterprises and rubber farmers. It is responsible for the supervision of rubber cost, appropriate purchase price and export price to ensure fairness and justice to farmers.
 In addition to the three-month suspension of rubber cutting, at the meeting on March 2, 2018, the Ministry of agriculture and cooperatives has invited rubber exporting countries such as Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia to participate in the meeting for discussion, and all three countries have expressed their participation, while India is also in the invitation ".
   India is invited because India has just become one of the rubber exporting countries. If all the above countries agree with the solution proposed by Thailand, it will effectively promote fairness and justice.
   At present, we are discussing appropriate plans, including solving the budget problems involved in the work adjustment of rubber farmers on the day of cutting cessation.
   Therefore, slowing down the rubber cutting is not to cut the latex first, to avoid the subsequent costs. The local administration of the Ministry of the interior of Thailand has sent the notice to local management agencies and government units to promote the rubber resolution passed on December 12, 2017. In the past, many government level management agencies were afraid to implement the regulations because they were not clear, but now many governments gradually implement them, such as Wengan and songka. With regard to the budget, the Ministry of the interior arranges all local management agencies to use two parts of the budget: the accumulated budget of the provincial administration organization and the 25% reserve budget.  these measures will effectively promote the balance of supply and demand at home and abroad. It is more appropriate for agriculture and cooperatives and the Thai rubber authority to reduce the annual production of rubber from 4.5 million tons to 3.5 million tons. Because the annual export volume is 3.8-4 million tons, it will be able to reduce production to make the rubber per kilogram rise from 50 baht to 80 baht, which is higher than the cost price.
